We’ve made a large sweeping change to Bulldoze that now prevents a single model from being Bulldozed more than once per turn. Throughout this document, you may see a variety of different models from various Factions listed that feature Bulldoze. All models with Bulldoze (and all spells/effects that reference Bulldoze) have been changed to reflect the new Bulldoze text.

Cygnar

Change the sixth sentence of Perfect Position to the following:

Khador

Mule

Cost 14.

Increase the RNG of the Steam Lobber to 12.

The Mule received a point drop and gained some additional range on the Steam Lobber.

Nomad

Cost 12.

Battle Blade gains Powerful Charge:

Powerful Charge - This model gains +2 to charge attack rolls with this weapon.

The Nomad received a modest point increase but gained Powerful Charge to increase its accuracy on the charge.

Rocinante

Cost 16.

Cannon gains Powerful Attack:

Powerful Attack - When attacking with this weapon, this model can spend 1 focus point to boost all attack and damage rolls for the attack.

Battle Blade gains Powerful Charge:

Powerful Charge - This model gains +2 to charge attack rolls with this weapon.

Rocinante saw a 2-point drop in cost and gained Powerful Attack on its cannon. Additionally, just like the Nomad, Rocinante gained Powerful Charge on its Battle Blade to give it a little more accuracy when it charges in.

Rover

Cost 14.

A simple point cost reduction to the Rover.

Steelhead Heavy Cavalry

Cut Assault .

Gain Point-Blank:

Point-Blank - During its activation, this model can make melee attacks with its ranged weapon, with a melee range of 0.5˝. Do not add this model’s STR to damage rolls made with ranged weapons. Charge attacks made with ranged weapons are not boosted.

Gain Relentless Charge:

Relentless Charge - While advancing as part of a charge, this model gains Pathfinder.

Mount attack POW 12. 

Steelhead Heavy Cavalry saw some significant changes. Assault was exchanged for Point-Blank to synergize with their existing Flank ability. Additionally, they gained Relentless Charge, and their Mount attack was increased to POW 12.

Steelhead Riflemen

Cost 8/13.

Gain War Tempered:

War-Tempered - This model can make combined ranged attacks targeting models in melee. If a combined ranged attack made by models with War-Tempered misses a model in melee, participating attackers that would automatically miss the new target do not contribute to the attack and damage roll bonus but still forfeit their attacks.

Steelhead Riflemen received a 1-point cost adjustment for a full-sized unit. Additionally, the unit gained War-Tempered to help them fire into melee engagements.

Alexia, Mistress of the Witchfire

Change Soul Taker: Collector to Soul Taker: Spectral Scavenger:

Soul Taker: Spectral Scavenger - This model can gain soul tokens. When a living enemy model is destroyed in this model’s command range, this model gains the destroyed model’s soul token. Additionally, when a friendly living model is destroyed by a continuous effect, an enemy attack, or collateral damage from an enemy attack while in this model’s command range, this model gains the destroyed model’s soul token. This model can have up to three soul tokens at any time.

Alexia’s Soul Taker was opened up to allow her to collect souls from friendly models killed by enemy attacks (as well as continuous effects and collateral damage). Now she can collect souls a bit easier in order to put more Thrall Warriors into play!

Sergeant Nicolas Verendrye

MAT 6.

RAT 6.

Cut Field Medic. 

Gain Heal [D3+1]:

Heal [d3+1] (Action) - RNG B2B. Target friendly living Faction model. If the model is in range, remove d3+1 damage points from it.

Gain Reinforcements [Steelhead]:

Reinforcements [Steelhead] - During your Maintenance Phase, return d3 small-based friendly destroyed Steelhead Grunts to play. Models return with 1 unmarked damage box. Place the returned Grunts completely within this model’s command range, in formation, and completely within 3˝ of another model in their unit. Returned Grunts must forfeit their Combat Actions the turn they are returned to play. 

Nicolas Verendrye got a bit of a MAT and RAT boost to help with his combat effectiveness. Field Medic was cut in favor of adding a Heal ability as well as gaining Reinforcements to put his Steelhead buddies back onto the battlefield.

Stannis Brocker

Gain Tough .

Gain Unyielding:

Unyielding - This model gains +2 ARM against melee damage rolls.

Thrasher gains Weapon Master .

Mount attack POW 12.

Stannis Brocker got some hefty changes to make him overall tougher and scarier in combat. He gained Tough and Unyielding to make him difficult to dislodge. His weapon gained Weapon Master to help him threaten meatier targets, and much like his Steelhead Cavalry brethren, his mount’s POW went up to 12.

Hammerfall Siege Crawler

Change the second sentence of Bulldoze to the following:

Place a 3˝ AOE anywhere completely within the spellcaster’s control range where it does not overlap a model’s base. The AOE is considered to be a friendly huge-based construct model. The AOE has DEF 5 and ARM 20, is automatically hit by melee attacks, and is removed from play if it suffers 1 or more damage points. The AOE remains in play for one round.

 

Pillar of Salt is a complex spell with complex interactions. There are many, many edge case interactions that can seem like rule abuses to the uninitiated. This version should be a bit clearer and easier to use. Please note, it will definitely have some different interactions than the previous version.

Mercenary Theme Force: The Irregulars

Change the first benefit to the following:

For every full 30 points of units and warjacks in this army, you can add one command attachment or small- or medium-based solo without the Lesser Warlock special rule to the army free of cost.

 

We made a change to the free-point threshold for Irregulars. Now, instead of capping out at up to four free models, you cap out at three models.
