We would be remiss if we didn’t share this as the subject of our fourth and final preview of Iron Kingdoms Full Metal Fantasy Roleplaying Game: Kings, Nations, and Gods.

Steamjacks have been a central element of the Iron Kingdoms for centuries, and this book is bursting at the seams with them. Every nation has a section dedicated to its unique steamjacks, as well as page after page of weapons and upgrades available to them.

I know we have already shown you some Ordic content back in our first preview, but we’re headed back Ord to give you something I’m pretty excited about. Those of you who read the Machinations league fiction will remember Rex, the personal ’jack of mercenary adventurer Rutger Shaw. Rex is a Toro, an Ordic warjack known for its aggression in combat. Well, our preview today is none other than the Toro heavy warjack chassis!

The Toro is only one of the dozens of steamjacks in Kings, Nations, and Gods, but so far it’s my favorite. I’m sure some of the playtesters had enough of me dropping yet another Toro onto the battle map in our sessions, but I can’t get enough of these guys. I have five standees of them on my bookshelf right now! I love how the Toro plays in the game. With its custom cortex, it reminds me of a fiercely loyal guard dog—a guard dog that weighs 7.2 tons and is handy with a sword, mind you.

I’m sure your favorite warjack is in the book somewhere, be it the high-tech Cygnaran Firefly or the venerable Khadoran Berserker.
